About Me.

So what has Jennie been up to ....

Jennifer M. Forster is an Australian artist with over twenty-five years of professional practice. Based in regional New South Wales, she is widely respected as both an exhibiting artist and an educator, teaching drawing and painting across a range of mediums. Jennifer is also a sought-after art judge and tutor throughout the region.

Her practice is grounded in tonal impressionism, working primarily with acrylics, oils, and inks. A strong emphasis on light, colour, and the physical qualities of paint defines her work. Alongside this, she maintains a deep interest in experimental drawing and mixed media.

Jennifer has held more than 30 successful solo exhibitions and has exhibited extensively in joint exhibitions and major regional art competitions. Her work has received numerous awards and is held in public, corporate, and private collections across Australia, New Zealand, China, India, England, and the United States.
